This webinar featured the German Marshall Fund’s Cities Fortifying Democracy project. Attendees learned about key topics leaders need to pay attention to at the local level to fortify democracy. Leaders from Fort Collins, Colorado and Minneapolis, Minnesota did a deeper dive on three of the focus areas–equity and inclusion; youth disengagement and activation of next generations; and next-level engagement.

In this webinar, attendees heard about the COVID-19 Public Education Campaign, an initiative to increase confidence in COVID-19 vaccines and reinforce basic prevention measures. Attendees also heard from the leaders of Multicultural Coalition Inc., a community organization that has implemented innovative and inclusive strategies for making vaccines more accessible and utilized.
