W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s National Day of Racial Healing

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation and its 130 partners hope that social media will be busy with contributions observing the National Day of Racial Healing on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

The grassroots initiative is aimed at overcoming racial biases and unifying the people of this country to create an environment where all children can thrive. Follow what people are doing at #TRHT, #thedaytoheal, and #dayofracial healing. If going to social media isn’t an option, then the foundation has offered actions or activities that that business, philanthropy, faith-based organizations, educators and individuals can use.

The day was called as part of the  foundation’s Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation enterprise. TRHT is a comprehensive effort to address historic and contemporary effects of racism and, community-by-community, to plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change.
