Lead for America: Host a Fellow

Bring a Homegrown Talent to Your Organization

Lead For America (LFA) is a non-profit that aims to ensure our nation’s most dynamic and diverse talent is working on our communities’ toughest challenges. LFA’s flagship fellowship program is one of the pathways LFA employs to achieve our mission. LFA recruits, trains, and places our nation’s most dynamic and diverse young leaders in two-year fellowships in their hometowns and states to strengthen America’s public institutions, support local communities, and cultivate the next generation of transformational community and public service leaders. Fellows are hosted by community-based organizations such as local and tribal governments and civically-oriented non-profits and businesses.

Lead for America is beginning to recruit host communities for their 2020 cohort of fellows! The host community recruitment process begins by first identifying dynamic hosts to pre-confirm placements and then tailoring recruitment to find a fellow to fit the host placement. To learn more about hosting, view their Host Executive Summary, 2019 Fellow Profiles, and website at www.lead4america.org.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming one of LFA’s 2020 pre-confirmed hosts please reach out to Erica Ng, Director of Community Partnerships at erica.ng@leadforamerica.org. We look forward to connecting with you and learning about your work and the challenges in your community!
