Before this year comes to end, we hope to raise $25,000 to start our “Thriving Communities Fund”. Your contribution will help us to:
- Assist America’s most vulnerable communities by providing free civic engagement resources and services for improving various conditions, with a strong focus on topics like health equity, racial healing, aging, sustainability and economic development.
- Engage low-income residents and young people by encouraging inclusion in each community and recognizing their role in their community’s achievements by providing free registration to the All-America City Awards and Conference.
- Support strong civic engagement in all communities nationwide with a focus on inclusion and equity. We achieve this through community assistance services, along with the ongoing development of relevant research and publications.
As we look forward at the future of America’s communities, we are asking you to join us in achieving our vision of a country where all the members of each community are actively and meaningfully engaged in local governance, including both decision making and implementation of activities to advance the common good.
Our programs, such as the All-America City Awards, highlight local communities coming together to solve important issues at a time when national politics are at their most divisive and least constructive.
