We’re excited to announce that our friends at Civics Unplugged are putting together #Commence2030, a first-of-its-kind celebration of young American civic superheroes who go above and beyond for their communities and are ready to “commence” a brighter future for American democracy. The event will be broadcasted on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook on June 27th, honor dozens of Gen Z leaders, and will feature speeches from established civic superheroes such as Senator Cory Booker, Andrew Yang (entrepreneur and founder of Move Humanity Forward), Audrey Tang (the Digital Minister of Taiwan), and Kathy Roth-Douquet (the founder of Blue Star Families).
