Impact of the All-America City Award on Asheboro, NC

The impact of Asheboro’s All America City award has certainly been felt by our agency. As one of our programs, Back Pack Pals, was featured in our 2016 winning application, our community has been made keenly aware of the ongoing need of many of our children for weekend food.

We have increased our volunteer base for this program by at least 20% and have been the recipient of multiple donations from new organizations and individuals in both funding and food!

I am so proud of this city for stepping up to support their children in need.
