Small Community Membership
Communities, organizations, and individuals become members of the National Civic League to help support our incredible work (such as the All-America City Award program) and to receive valuable support, resources and information that helps them to be even more effective in strengthening their community.
Small community memberships are for communities with fewer than 50,000 residents.
- Subscription to National Civic Review: a quarterly journal of community building, civic engagement & community problem solving
- Access to All-America City Promising Practice Database: an online, searchable database of 450+ projects from more than 180 communities
- Subscription to Monthly e-newsletter
- Free copies of NCL publications: including the Model City Charter, and Civic Index
Making Membership More Valuable - Free Consultation from NCL Staff (New for 2016 )
We are committed to strengthening the benefits our members receive – providing them with the support, tools and information to be even more effective in their work. For 2016, we are adding as a membership benefit the opportunity for organizational members and local governments to receive a free community engagement consultation from NCL staff. This conversation is a chance to work with NCL staff on local community engagement efforts, challenges, and opportunities or related matters.
